Like most artists I love working with and chasing light especially in the early mornings hours. I kinda just wander around, sometimes chase people up and down hills at November Project. I never really know what I'm looking for but I'll know when I find it. It's always something that enlightens me. The hope is to extend that moment forever. Nothing is captured but rather given visual freedom so it can be shared with others.
In a way shooting photos is inspired by the philosophy we used when I coached soccer. We never asked the players to go out and do something great. "Just go out there and do what the game asks you to do". Bring some experience, skills and a bit of perspective to that moment and now your making art. That's how I like to play the game of artistic photography – It's purely un-calculated but always magical when the world reveals something breathtaking.
