Located In the heart of Edmonton's river valley is this big hunk of iron that connects the south and north sides of our beautiful city. It's called the "High Level Bridge" and has been an inspirational focus point for many photographers and artists alike. On my way home from another inspiring morning chasing peeps at November Project Canada and lugging around a 500mm f4 piece of glass (borrowed from a friend) – I decided to make some art.
it was fun using the bridge's geometric structure to both frame and establish a sense of rhythm and motion for the cyclists, pedestrains and runners crossing her path. Plus, there was just enough morning light to warm up the cold steel frame and add to the character of each shot.
